Volunteer as a ‘community expert’: The public is welcome to attend 11th annual Senior Night at Avalon School at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, to hear more than 30 young adults present the topics for their senior projects, a graduation requirement at Avalon. These projects will demonstrate at least 300 hours of dedicated, in-depth study around a topic of each student’s choice.
