Barbara Grace (Gleason) Jarl, 91, Falcon Heights, died April 30.
She was born Sept. 20, 1923, in Spencer, Iowa. She attended grade school and high school in Litchfield, Minn. She graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota with a degree in medical technology. She later received a certificate in interior design from the U. She worked at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital, University of Minnesota Veterinary Hospital, and the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic.
Barbara had many talents, including music, sewing and needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy; sister, Dortha Gleason; and brother, Dr. Donald Gleason. Survivors include sons, Fred (Mary) and Daniel Jarl; and daughter, Margaret Johnson.
Her funeral service was held May 7 at the Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview, with interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
