If you have ideas for improvements, events or just want to stay up to date on happenings at South St. Anthony Community Center, join the St. Anthony Park and Joy of the People Community Committee, which will meet monthly, beginning Thursday, Oct. 20, 6:30-8 p.m. at Joy of the People (JOTP), 890 Cromwell Ave.
These monthly meetings will include brainstorming and discussion that will help facilitate future projects and events at the park. There will also be updates about current projects and events at the center.
This committee will also work toward getting more community input about happenings at the center and establishing a consistent and collaborative dialogue between JOTP and the neighborhood. If you do not have time to participate in the committee, but have thoughts, concerns and suggestions for the center in general, contact Alex Maning, alex@joyofthepeople.org or 206-375-4331.
