David B. Laird, Jr., 77, Woodbury, formerly of St. Anthony Park, died Sept. 13, 2020.
After receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Laird moved to Minnesota where he spent his entire professional career in higher education. His humor, dedication to others and genuine zest for life will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Laird was preceded in death by his parents David and Louise. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne; daughter Katrin (Mark); son Tom (Connie); three granddaughters; and sisters Bonnie (Jim) and Jeanne (Gordon).
