The Falcon Heights City Council has approved the implementation of a new basketball court at Curtiss Field, 1551 W. Iowa Ave. The city’s staff is currently in the process of finalizing dimensions, securing materials and ordering supplies for the construction. The half-court should be ready this fall. The court will have two hoops: one at regulation height and one a bit shorter to encourage youth play.
