For the final ZEALOUS HELLIONS offering of 2023, Mixed Blood welcomes esteemed writer, lawyer, school board member and human Ellie Krug in conversation with Hal Sansone of the Trans Voices Cabaret Minneapolis on Friday, December 1st at 7:00PM CST at Mixed Blood Theatre.
From the courtroom to the classroom, Ms. Krug has been hard at work fighting for a more just, more inclusive society for all. After a year serving the East Carver County School Board as one of only eight openly transgender or nonbinary school board members nationwide, Ms. Krug will reflect on the work being done to protect trans kids in schools and on her work changing hearts and policies from within systems of all kinds.
Hosting the conversation with Ms. Krug is Hal Sansone, trans performer and poet. He is one of the organizers behind the Trans Voices Cabaret which will be hosted at Mixed Blood.
