Explore bridges and monuments

Join historian J.B. Andersen at Roseville Library, 2180 N. Hamline Ave., Wednesdays, March 7 and 28, as he explores the solid underpinnings of U.S. history with “Walls, Bridges and Monuments: the Structures that Made Our World.” On March 7, Anderson will explore America’s bridges—from the Golden Gate to the Brooklyn Bridge. On March 28, he will explore the monuments of Washington: What and whom do we as a nation honor, and how does that change over time? Each program begins at 1 p.m. and is free.
