The Falcon Heights Fire Department will host an open house and chili cook-off on Saturday, Oct. 3, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the fire department, 2077 Larpenteur Ave.
The event will include demonstrations, fire truck tours, kids’ activities, a bounce house, fire-safety tips, fire-extinguisher training, popcorn and refreshments.
Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
