Gretchen Wacholz Berger, 85, of Roseville, died Jan. 16, 2021. She graduated from Murray High School, Class of 1953.
Gretchen left home for Rochester at age 18, where she worked for the Mayo Clinic and IBM. She spent her free time bowling with friends. This hobby led her to meet Tom Berger. They met in April 1960 and married in November of the same year. She loved family gatherings and hosting parties.
She is survived by her sons John (Caroline) of St. Anthony Park and Kenneth (Deborah), daughter Janet (Phillip) Levine, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, and sister Karen (Tom) Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom and brother Donald.
