“Jacque” M. Phillippi, 89, Maplewood, died suddenly on Jan. 8, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, Jr.; son John; and parents, John Essick and Maxine Meier. She is survived by children, Mark (Diane), Marykaye (Dale) Golla, Thomas (Jodi); daughter-in-law, Mary; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Marlys) Meier and David Essick.
Jacque was born and raised in Spooner, Wis. She was a proud graduate of Anker School of Nursing and she retired from U of M Hospitals. Jacque loved Boston terriers, baseball, football, bowling and golf.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 22 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church in St. Paul. Memorials preferred to the Minnesota Boston Terrier Club Foundation, c/o Barbara Bartholomew (president), 4032 10th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55407, or Maternity of Mary Catholic Church.
