James Harlow Palmer, 93, died May 24. His wife, Lillian Palmer, died April 19.
Lee and Jim were married 67 years. They had three daughters, Susan Withrow (Stephen), Nancy Palmer (Michael Hopps) and Kathy Bigelow (Bill); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He worked in the St. Paul Public Schools for 30 years as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal and principal at Murray High School and other high schools.
A celebration of his life was held at St. Paul Episcopal Homes, Cornelia House Chapel, on May 29.
