John A. Goodding, 93, of Roseville, died May 18.
John was a professor emeritus at the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences. His 17-year career there included academic administration and classroom teaching in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics, from which he retired in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet; daughters, Judith Kuusisto (James) and Marcia Goodding (Tom); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Richard; and sister Barbara Bell.
He will be remembered for his love of family, friends, painting, music and education. A celebration of life was held June 11 at House of Hope Presbyterian Church.
