Kinderberry Hill will host its fourth annual Halloween Candy Drive, Nov. 3-7, at its six Twin Cities locations, including 2360 Lexington Ave. N. in Roseville. The candy drive is part of Kinderberry Hill’s mission to encourage healthy habits for young children.
The community is invited bring extra or unwanted Halloween candy to Kinderberry Hill during business hours (7 a.m. to 6 p.m., M-F). Kinderberry Hill will deliver the candy to Operation Minnesota Nice and the Minnesota chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America, nonprofit organizations dedicated to sending care packages to U.S. troops deployed around the world.
In return for donating candy, children will receive a gift bag filled with healthy and fun goodies. Donations were provided by Kowalski’s Market, Kidcreate Studios, Skyzone Indoor Trampoline Park, Lakeshore Learning, Park Dental and Kinderberry Hill.
To date, Kinderberry Hill has collected more than 2,500 pounds of candy. Students at Kinderberry Hill also send letters to the troops.
