The Roseville Area League of Women Voters will host a presentation on the role immigrants will continue to play as Minnesota Monday, Nov. 13, 6:30-8 p.m., in the Community Room of the Roseville Library, 2180 Hamline Ave. Matt Schmit, former state senator and current adjunct instructor in economic competitiveness at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, will discuss recent efforts in Minnesota to understand and emphasize the benefits of immigration to Minnesota’s workforce and economic competitiveness. The presentation is co-sponsored by the Ramsey County Library–Roseville and is free and open to the public.
