Lee Dallas Stauffer, 87, of Falcon Heights, died peacefully at Regions Hospital, on July 21, 2016, with his kids and grandkids loving him through the process.
Lee is remembered as a great and generous man. He was quick-witted, patient, a loving father and respected academic administrator. He will be greatly missed.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1946-47 and in the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1947-48. He received a master’s in public health in 1956, and served as dean emeritus of the School of Public Health, University of Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Lois. He is survived by his children, Karl (Fabiana), Lisa (Jay), Dane and Kris (Julie); four grandchildren; and sister, Marcia.
Memorial service details had not been announced by press time.
