The Land Use Committee of District Council 12 recognizes and appreciates the efforts Ecumen has made in response to the neighborhood’s concerns about the proposed development of property currently owned by Luther Seminary.
This development will have a major impact on our neighborhood and there are diverse and strongly held opinions on how it should proceed. Whatever the outcome, Ecumen has now included residents in the planning process and will continue to do so. Ecumen has responded positively to the Land Use Committee’s recently issued development guidelines, and their representatives are scheduled to meet with our committee monthly to keep us and the community up-to-date on plans and progress.
All Land Use Committee meetings are open to the neighborhood, and participation is welcome.
