Mabel L. “Mae” Thompson, 98, formerly of Falcon Heights, died April 4, 2017, at Johanna Shores, Arden Hills.
She was born and raised in Illinois. She worked in advertising and radio broadcasting after college and early in her marriage. Her husband’s academic career took the family from Illinois to Oklahoma and Oregon before his appointment at the University of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard L., and daughter Julia Linn Erickson. She is survived by her daughter Susan Thompson (Don Miller), two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister Ellen Paullin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred to First Congregational Church of Minnesota UCC or donor’s choice of arts organization.
