Marjorie R. “Marge” Hoagland, 90, of Edina, died July 9, 2022. She was born March 11, 1932, in St. Paul. She graduated from Murray High School and from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing in 1955.
She worked in pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco and was a school nurse for 33 years in Minneapolis schools. She enjoyed her career.
Marge was preceded in death by Mel, her husband of 56 years, and parents George and Agnes Larson. She is survived by daughters Merri Lynn Jono (Ryusuke) and Laurie Egstad (Eric), five grandchildren and brother Buzz Larson (Barbara). Her memorial service was held July 18 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Golden Valley Animal Humane Society, Mount Olivet Lutheran Church or American Heart Association.
