School’s in session; drive carefully: The orange patrol flags are waving along Como Avenue and nearby streets as students walk, drive and bus to school. Thank you to all drivers in the area for using extra caution, especially during the construction on Raymond Avenue.
School remodel update: The SAP Elementary Design Committee reconvened on Sept. 19 to see the plans for the building expansion. The Cunningham Group Architects revealed the plans for the first- and second-floor additions and remodeling. Thank you to the group of family and community members and staff who participated.
Upcoming events: School will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 20 and 21, for state teacher meetings and on Friday, Oct. 28, for conference preparations.
The St. Anthony Park Elementary School Fall Festival will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, 5:30-8 p.m. The event, which includes a variety of activities, is free. The community is welcome to attend.
