Sign up for summer activities at Northwest Como Rec Center

Though Summer Sports Registration at Northwest Como Recreation Center was in March, you can call or come into the center, 1515 Hamline Ave., to see if any spots are available for pre-T-ball (ages 3-4), T-ball (ages 5-6), nearball ages (7-8), machine pitch baseball (ages 7-8), baseball ages (9-12), softball slow pitch (ages 9-18) and lacrosse (ages 6-11).

Summer classes and camp registration is open. Northwest Como will offer the following classes and camps: Archery, Soccer Stars, Babysitting, Funtastic Fridays, Tumble Time, Artist Workshop, Extreme Robotics: Battle Bots, Digital Film Making—Star Wars Jedi Movie Making, Soccer Camp, Snag Golf Camp, Kumihimo Bracelets, Crazy Chemworks, Ultimate Frisbee Camp, You Are the Actor Camp, Knitting Class, Game on Camp, Lacrosse Camp, Dance Camp, Minecrafting Basics, Minecraft Coding w/Python, Tye Dye, Forensic Lab, Cheerleading Camp, Flag Football Camp, Schoolhouse Chess, Gone Fishing Sewing Bag, Basketball Camp, Mini-Hawk Camp, Art Academy, How to Train Your Dragon Art Class, Ahoy Matey Art Class, Badminton Camp, Volleyball Camp, Messiest Art Camp Ever-Part 2, Story Time Art Camp and Tae Kwon Do.

Don’t forget the Northwest Como Family Overnight Camping and Movie Night on Friday, July 10, featuring the movie “The Goonies.”
