SAP school check-in forum
The St. Anthony Park Community Council will host an open community discussion via Zoom on Oct. 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the first month of distance learning in 2020-2021 in local schools. We anticipate many challenges will arise, from child care, meals and language barriers to mental health needs, Wi-fi hotspots and headphones.
District 12 would like this space to serve as a place where parents, students and teachers can voice their frustrations, questions and concerns as well as mention resources they’ve discovered or advice that has worked. Spread the word and invite family and friends to join the forum.
Additionally, the council hopes that students and families from Jennings and Avalon schools, as well as board members from the St. Anthony Park School Association participate in the forum.
