The St. Anthony Park Garden Club was awarded the Community Livability Award by the Minnesota State Horticultural Society in October.
For 20 years the garden club, with financial help from the St. Anthony Park Library Association, has funded, designed, installed and maintained the gardens surrounding the St. Anthony Park Branch Library. In late 2014, the club began a special expansion of these gardens—new pollinator gardens on the hillsides along the Children’s Rotunda with help from donations from Park Service, Speedy Market, Kern Landscaping and other local businesses.
