Stanley “Jack” Parry, 91, of Lauderdale, died May 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by son Christopher, aunt and uncle whom he called his parents, Florence and Frank Pegors, and sisters Lucille and Eileen. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Donna, daughter Jacqueline (Gary) Peterson, daughter-in-law Shelly Parry (Paul Demeules), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Jack was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He grew up on the family farm in Truman, where he met Donna. They moved to Lauderdale where Jack began his career working at NSP, attending night school at Dunwoody, eventually retiring after 38 years. After retiring he earned his pilot’s license and began flying as a hobby.
He loved going to the cabin, watching hockey, playing trumpet in the Roseville Community Band and spending time with his family and friends.
Memorials preferred to University Lutheran Church of Hope, where he was a longtime member.
