Straw bale gardener Joel Karsten will give a talk about the benefits of straw bale gardening on Sunday, March 22, 2-4 p.m., at the Historic Streetcar Station, 1224 N. Lexington Pkwy.
The talk is part of the Como Community Council’s Sunday Series. Straw bale gardening allows gardeners with bad soil conditions to grow, thriving gardens that are less labor intensive than regular gardening methods.
