In lieu of St. Anthony Park’s official July 4th parade, which was canceled because of COVID-19, the neighbors on and around Carter Avenue, between Como and Raymond, staged their own parade. Yes, a bit smaller, but no less spirited.
Waving in the back of the blue pickup truck is Dina Kontoupes, the organizer of the parade, with daughter Kiki Ruddy, as the celebration crossed Chelmsford Street along Carter.
In the silver pick up is the McRoberts family of Commonwealth Avenue.
